The Anafi Thermal is perfectly capable of recording stable 4K video for artistic applications, but its strength is in thermal imaging, and it's best suited for sundry industrial applications.

The Parrot Anafi is a popular, low-cost drone for photography and videography. With the Anafi Thermal, a drone that is almost its twin, Parrot has added a thermal camera in an effort to provide a solution for many of the challenges faced in the world of industry.
Like the standard Anafi, the Thermal is a small, take-anywhere drone. Its propellers are mounted on arms that fold in to the sides of the body. The whole drone can slide into a small bag, and charges via USB-C, so you don't need to carry an extra charger. A carrying case is included.
The Thermal has the same main camera as the standard edition of the drone. It's a wide-angle design with support for 4K HDR recording and digital zoom. A second lens sits below the Thermal's version, however. It houses a Flir thermal imaging system—a camera that records heat intensity rather than light. You can see it in action in the clip below, which was provided by Parrot.
The two lenses recorded simultaneously, saving video into a single two-track file. When viewed in the Parrot app, available for Android or iOS, the app combines the the 4K video from the main camera and the 160-by-120-pixel footage from the Flir camera into a single 1080p thermal video. Temperature ranges from 14 through 752 degrees Fahrenheit can be detected. (Standard playback of 4K footage, without the thermal overlay, is also an option.)
The Anafi Thermal promises to delivers 26 minutes of flight time and three batteries are included. The drone can fly at up to 34mph and can withstand 31mph winds. Maximum range, using the included SkyController 3, is 1.2 miles.
Parrot is targeting industrial sectors with the Anafi Thermal. It has identified several use cases, including fire fighting, solar panel inspection, search-and-rescue, and anti-poaching operations among them. As such, the Anafi is priced higher than most consumer drones, at $1,900. It's scheduled to go on sale in May.
